Pattern: Cashmerette Upton dress pattern in size 20. Capped sleeves with a square neckline and v-neck back. The skirt is gored and has pockets. The wasitband was modified to flow the star pattern through the centre like a cleric tabard.

Fabric: navy blue cotton poplin with medium white stars for the centre and sleeves, plain navy for the sides and bodice lining.
